Future.

I was chatting with this friend of mine whom i knew since my junior college days, she's graduating from university soon and will be stepping into the working society just as soon. We were chatting and the topic of planning for the future came into the scene. We talk about setting ourselves target and goals, planning for the future,eventually settling down and get married. It just strucked me that it seems not so long ago that we just graduated from our junior college, and now we are nearing the stage of talking about goals in life, marriages so on and so forth. In her case, the stage has already arrived. Time really flies. I guess i had mentioned it quite a number of times before, but it still never fails to remind me that i'm not as young as i think i am. Girls of my age are already in the work force, and they can longer be called girls, but women instead, while here i am just about to finish my 1st year in university. Come to think about it, by the time i complete my university studies i will be 26 and soon i will hit the thirties. It is in deed time to do a proper planning for the future, setting goals that will shape my future and making sure i will eventually hit them. Then again, the future remains a mystery and many twist and turns awaits. What you had planned may never turn out the way you wanted. I had an experience that really taught me a harsh lesson about it. Planning for the future never hurts, but just don't bank too much hope on it. Treat it as a guideline for your actions, a direction in life, but never make assumptions or taking it for granted. Failure to plan is planning to fail.
