Happy New Year!

It is 1 hour passed midnight and i still can't send out my new year sms greetings to my friends. I guess everyone is sending out sms as well that jammed up the whole network system. Sigh... It didn't happen on Christmas Eve though. Damn... Never mind, i will send them out in the morning though. Come morning, i will be onboard a train to Malaysia! Going back hometown to visit my grandma! It has been a year since i last saw her, can't wait to see her again. Not forgetting her Ang Pao... Hahaha... Hope this new year will be smooth sailing 1 for me. The last one was quite turbulent for me, things weren't going as planned. Better start planning for the new year and hope everything will turn out just fine. And also i better start planning exercise regime. This festive season, i forsee i gonna grow real fat, considering all the food in the cabinet. Hahaha... Anyway... The background music on my blog not working very well, need to find some other website to host my music. I can't hear it myself. Ha... You will have to continue watch this space if you really wana hear it. Sigh... Nobody, except Liu Fang, is using my tagboard. Response very poor. Maybe because not many people knew about my blog. Perhaps i should take it off? This blog is alittle boring, isn't it? Nothing much to see or read. Think i should add some links and stuff about myself. But i want to keep it simple and clean. Minimalistic. Expect some revamp soon. Just to end my blog on a good note, wishing everyone 新年快乐 万事如意 心想事成.

One Week.

I suddenly had the urge to do a make-over for my blog and... Ta-da! Here's the new face of my blog. It left the best impression among the blog skins that i browsed through; a phamton-of-the-opera themed skin. Realise that doing html was much more difficult then i used to think. I did learnt a bit during my secondary school days, but had trouble remembering the language. Returned the knowledge back to my teacher. Haha... In any case, i also didn't do much editing to original blog skin. Only make a few changes here and there, and added a song "All I Ask Of You" from the "Phamton Of The Opera" muscial. It's my favourite song in the muscial, followed by "Masquerade". You probably know why i choose this blog skin by now! As much as i like the musical, unfortunately i didn't have the chance to watch the musical "live". Sadly, can only catch it on video and movie. By the way, i made the song to play infinitely. So it will go on n on, to make it stop please press the "Esc" key. And also 1 more thing, the song will only play on IE. If you are using other web browser, you won't be able to enjoy the song. :P Another week of school just breezed through, and another week of history to be carved in my life. Haha... i don't know why i just type the previous sentence out. I'm getting a little crazy nowadays. Oh well... Ok... I shall start with last Saturday. I was supposed to meet up with my friend when he called and said he was selected to take part in the show "Love Bites 2" aka 《缘来就是你》. Was laughing my stomach out when i heard it! Haha... I guess he couldn't be any luckier that day to be selected for the show, but i also felt happy for him. For him to be chosen, he must, be in the eye of the host, handsome. So his unexpected participation wrecked our meeting by a little, and i went down to watch take part in the recording of the show. HE had to dragged me along to stand beside him in the show, as in stand beside him in the crowd. If you watch the show, i'm sure you know what i'm talking about. SO you will get to see me on the show as well. Hahaha... At least i think so... Hahaha... By the way, the girl on the show was quite cute as well! After the recording, we went Mustafa to shop for new year clothing. Yes! Mustafa! It is quite a nice place to shop actually, things there are relatively cheaper than in the market. Wide variety of products too! I will advise you to shop on weekdays to avoid the massive indian and bangladesh crowd. So much for Saturday. It's also an eventful week for the hall; 2 game finals and 1 cheerleading competition. Went down to support the hall players and cheerleaders, but always only see a handful of supporters from the hall. Apparently, not many residents are interested in supporting the hall. It is quite saddening to see that, especially seeing other hall having large number of supporters compared to my hall. I guess they just have different priority when it comes to this kind of things. I don't know whether is it the lack of support, my hall only won 1 of the finals instead of 2. We were expected to win both finals! It's a pity. Oh... In my last post, i mentioned about me taking up directed readings in modern chinese songs lyrics. It is in deed taught by Liang Wen Fu! His lessons are quite good, interesting too. Attending his lessons is like having chinese test each time, it really tests my chinese knowledge. Considering that the last time i attended a chinese lesson was 5 years ago, i really had a hard time writing the chinese characters out. I had to constantly take out my handphone to look up the build in dictionary to find out how to write the character. Damn... And also another thing, it seem to me all the things about chinese history i had never heard of it before. Those chinese poets, literature all sound so foreign to me. Especially when seeing others in the class laughing at his jokes, while i can only wonder what is going out. Quite demoralising at times. Sigh... Really need to buck up, if not, i doubt i can pass this module with my current standard of chinese. I will stop here for now. Tiring day for me, gotta go rest. :P

New Year.

It is the start of 2006 and a brand new year, school has already started and lessons will start proper next week. It is also the time of the year to plan time-table for the new semester. Pretty headache. Had to arrange with friends such that we are in the same class, but also make sure it doesn't clash with the electives i chose. Almost went bonkers. Had to rush to register the subjects before the there's no vacany, etc. Was quite torn between getting into same class as friends and studying subjects of my interest. But in any case, still manage to get it sorted out. Took up extra modules: directed lyrics in modern chinese lyrics and introduction to psychology. Hope they will be interesting, especially the former, hope that 梁文福 is the one lecturing. Hahaha... Looking bad, 2005 is a year with mix fortunes for me. Some things didn't turn out the way i wanted, many unhappy things occured on me. But there were happy times, times i enjoyed myself, when things went according to plan. I would say it is a year with a balance of good and bad times. Certainly, many things happened, but i wouldn't want to say more. Let's hope 2006 will be a better year. And by the way, happy new year to you who is reading this. I come to realise i forget to blog during christmas! but it is too late to wish you guys anyway. Hahaha... All i wish for this year is a smooth year, a problem-free year, and of course a happy year. Perhaps cupid might want to help me out this year too. I'm more than glad for him to help! Hehehe... I certainly hope that you will have a wonderful year ahead as well. Happy new year...
