New Life.

I thank you if you are reading this posting right now. It means that you are still interested or bother to check my blog once in a while, after such a long period without any posting. I must apologise. To a certain extent, i can't be bothered to type a new posting. Just plain old lazy. Well... I'm back. But i can't promise whether there will be more posting to follow. I'm starting my new life at Nanyang Technological University! Hurray! So i will be busy with my lectures, tutorials, projects, etc. Thus, i don't know whether i will still have time for blog. Sorry guys. Anyway, just to update you guys about stuff between my last posting and this one. I went to Taiwan for a week, Taipei to be exact, with my 7 other catholic high classmates. It was fun and eye-opening as well. I guess Taipei is more a shopping city than a sight seeing city. I practically shopped the 7 days i spend there. In total the trip cost me around S$1800. Really broke now. I will recommend Taiwan to those that like taiwanese variety shows. You will love her. I intend to go again if my pocket allows me. Haha. Ok, back to my university life. As you must have known, i'm in common engineering, still haven't decide on what field i want to major in. I was hoping to get into bioengineering if possible. Heard you need really good grades to get in. But as most people would have said, "nothing is impossible". So i vow to do what i can to make the cut. (Easier said than done.) One more thing, i'm staying in hostel! I attended the hall orientation, which was very fun and also get to know my hall-mates as well, especially the girls. Muahaha. No lah, just kidding only. I must concentrate on my studies! I'm still slowly adjusting to hall life as they are so many stuff for you to participate in. Inter-block games, inter-hall games, block committee and junior common room committee. I hope i can juggle between studies and play. I'm joining floorball as well. Plus, i intend to take up a minor, that make it alot of things for me to handle. I seriously don't know whether i can handle the workload. Ok, i must stop here for now. My life science lecture is starting soon. So you guys do watch this space ok. I promise i will TRY to write new post as regularly as possible. You guys take care! (oh gosh! this posting sound more like a letter than a blog! haha!)

Amazing Comeback.

Sometimes i wonder whether those things that we consider to be impossible to happen are indeed impossible. I had just witnessed the impossible. I witnessed the local edition of Liverpool comeback in the champions league. Perhaps, it is even more dramatic than the latter. Going down 3-1 down in injury time to Home United, Balestier Khalsa scored twice in the dying seconds to level the match. How table can turn in a short space of time, a useless bet slip became a winning ticket, from making a small loss to winning a comparatively big profit. The sudden change in emotion can't be anymore drastic than this. Despair turned into hopeful, and in turn into jubilant as each goal is being scored. The feeling is beyond words. I guess you can never turn your back on hope no matter how bleak things are. Miracles do happen. As a particular sport brand would say, impossible is nothing.

A Series of Unfortunate Events.

Very, very terrible day for me. Absolute disaster. I guess it can't be worse than what i am about to tell you. Went for my friend's birthday chalet at East Coast Costa Sand and suppose to play soccer there. Just when i was about to leave my house for it. Rain started to pour down, thunder and lightning followed through. It certainly dampened my spirit. Still raining when i reached ECP, but we still end up playing when the rain stopped. Lost my shoe bag together with my glasses while playing. I don't really know how the thief manage to steal it. The shoe bag was placed less than 5m away from where we playing and we kept a constant look out. My friend's waist pouch, containing 10 dollars and a buddha pendant, was also stolen. My friend and i cursed and sweared as we walked back. Argh! I never put any hope on getting it back anyway. Played mahjong later on. Lost big time. Suffered the biggest lost. Totally no luck at all. Argh! Never mind that, when i reach home and check my mail box, i saw the letters from the 3 university i applied for. To my absolute disappointment, i couldn't get into any of the courses i re-applied for in those universities. Demoralised. Felt terrible for the rest of the night and i can't get myself to sleep for quite awhile. Argh! Suddenly, the future look bleak for my dream to work in the financial sector. It will not have turn out like this if i have did better for my A's. If only i could turn back time...
