Update.

One hell of a week is coming right up! Starting tomorrow, filming for the short film "Alone" begins and will most probably end next week. For those who haven't heard, the film titled "Alone" is a small production by me and two other friends, Darren and Kelvin, for the elective FIL210. Pre-production was already pretty hectic, i can't imagine how will it be like when the shoot starts! Gosh! Not forgetting post-production as well. And there's MP2004 quiz next week, which i haven't start studying for it up. To top it all up, there's CAB Night and DOTA competition next week! It's going to be one hell of a ride! Sit tight and buckle up!

School Starts!

Finally! The new semester kick starts! I took, in my opinion, a rather interesting elective this semester - Digital Film Production. Its a 3AU course but having 6 hours of lessons per week. Some may few its a bit "bo hua" considering the long hours, but i'm enjoying every minute of it. It is the most interesting module that i ever took and i believe it will stay this way! Just a brief introduction, the module basically teaches you all the things you need to know to make a digital film or high-definition film. From producing to directing, cinematography, script writing, etc. Besides that you learn how to handle all the technical stuff, ie how to operate a professional level digital video cam, which i believe you won't be able to learn elsewhere not forgetting its free. Furthermore, NO EXAMS! Haha! Bargain right? Overall, this semester is sort of more slack and relax, four core modules two electives and only five written papers! The time-table looks rather similar to that of what i had when i was in year one minus the free day. IH finally ended about two weeks back, it was really a tiring month with a stupid ICT right smack in the middle of the holidays. (Read previous article to find out more about it) All in all, IH was fun. Pity that we fellow rec secs gel together rather late into the IH, final week of the IH to be exact. We actually met up to play, drink and eat for five consecutive nights! I wouldn't have imagine that at the start of IH. They were a bunch of fun-seeking, mahjong-playing and loveable people, not forgeting gossiping as well! Haha! Anyway, i will try to upload some photos of IH in the future. Oh yah, just in case i don't blog on Valentines' Day and CNY, happy v-day and gong xi fa cai!
